YACHT CHARTERS WITH LARGE DISCOUNTS (with captain or bare boat)
Charter companies have, at any given base and point in time, boats sitting at the docks, like empty hotel rooms. Those charter weeks are now available to you at large discounts. Leading charter companies are participating in this Sail-Works exclusive program, currently offering us a working database of about 1,000 boats worldwide.
Here is an example of boats offered with dates and prices:
- BVI 2-week charter: $4,000. Regular rate: $7,350. Discount 45%
- USVI 1-week charter/Motor Yacht: $4,800. Regular rate: $8,000. Discount 40%
- South Pacific 1-week charter: $1,100. Regular rate: $1,710. Discount: 35%
What is included in the charter/trip:
- Inclusive of (typically): Dinghy with outboard motor, linen/bath towels, water, propane, BBQ, ice, GPS, navigation equipment, snorkeling gear, CD player, first-aid kit, chart briefing, boat check-out and boat cleaning.
- Exclusive of (typically): Damage Waiver Insurance, transfers, cruising taxes, National Park fees, airfare, airport taxes, and, of course, provisioning.
- May be included depending on the company: Fuel, cruising guide, chase boat.
- If you confirm your booking, you may be offered optional items. It is entirely up to you to accept or decline them
What is the catch? time is of the essence and the bookings must be made within 48 hours of the notification.
